Potential Sellers

Acquisitions and Migrations

Acquisitions are a key component of our growth strategy. Using a proprietary methodology, we have completed acquisitions with more than 30 hosting companies and migrated more than half-a-million customers onto our platform since 2001.

Our team developed and refined a well-structured process for identifying, evaluating and quickly transitioning customers onto our hosting platform.

Customer Migration Process

Using a 350-step account migration protocol that we’ve coined the ‘wheel,’ we divide all customer data into distinct blocks. The data is then moved, block-by-block via wheel actions, to Endurance’s back-end platform.

Moving data in blocks, rather than in its entirety, allows us to quickly and efficiently move data, while reducing delays, downtime and data corruption. Once an account has had all files successfully moved, and each block has passed our quality-assurance testing, the account is considered migrated and served from the Endurance architecture.

Through this methodology, which is unique to Endurance, we are able to successfully migrate more than 95% of the customers we acquire.

Seller’s Role and Expectations

Of course each migration brings a unique set of challenges and requires some level of customization. We work very closely with our “sellers” during the migration process to understand the data, and our new customers.

We depend on sellers to provide us with solid data in a pre-defined format and information about procedures and policies. A successful migration also requires sellers to participate in all aspects of the transition and help support customers during the migration.
